200 people raise over £30,000 through sleeping out

Winchester’s annual Big Sleep Out is set to raise over £33,000 to put back into services to support homeless and other vulnerable people.

For the first time hosted at Wolvesey, in the Bishop of Winchester’s Grounds, Trinity Winchester’s Big Sleep Out on 11th May saw over 200 people come together to sleep in cardboard shelters for the night, and raise sponsorship for doing so. (more…)

Big Sleep Out 2018 – In Pictures

Over 200 people enjoyed a night under the stars to support homeless and other vulnerable people in Winchester on Friday 11th May at Wolvesey, the Bishop of Winchester’s grounds.

We are still counting up how much money our fantastic participants raised, but we anticipate that so far over £30,000 has been received – all of which will be put back into Trinity’s wide range of day services supporting some of the most vulnerable people in the city.
