Learning and Recovery Programmes

Trinity’s ethos is about creating opportunities to bring about long-term positive change, with this in mind we offer a range of learning opportunities taught by our qualified, experienced, and empathetic tutor.

I.T.

We offer I.T. classes to support people with working skills for employment, providing a mixed class and a woman only class. You can learn the basics of I.T. as well as build upon the skills you may already have. As well as I.T. skills for the workplace there is an additional class that looks at computer-based creativity available to anyone who would like to learn how to create posters, videos, blogs and much more.

Art

We have an art class that is a mixed group, working in partnership with the Winchester School of Art and Southampton university, this is a great opportunity to discover your creative side in a supportive learning environment, previous learners have visited the Tate Modern Gallery as well as put on an exhibition there as well as local exhibitions.

Skills for Life

We run a tenancy management and budgeting course aimed at helping people from all walks of life manage home finances as well as budgeting for groceries, bills, and extra’s.

Job Club

Twice a week we work with local businesses who share their expertise and support people to create and develop a working CV and learn vital interview skills and work-based practices.

We offer opportunities to gain a range of qualifications to include food hygiene, health and safety, and construction skills. Once people have found employment our staff coach them through the first few weeks to ensure a smooth re-entry into the workplace.
