“In 2007 I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia and was very unwell for several years. My life became very isolated and I had withdrawn from society. As part of my recovery programme I was introduced to Trinity where I began to attend an art class. That was in 2012 and since then I have received some valuable counselling and joined the serenity group for women. I have also completed a course in empowerment. Trinity Winchester has been central in rebuilding my life and I recently started a course in Supporting Teaching & Learning at a local college. I volunteer at a school two mornings a week and hope eventually to secure a job as a teaching assistant. I have met some lovely new friends at Trinity and continue to make the most of the support they offer.” (2014)

Since writing this for us, Charlotte has gained an NCFE accreditation in art, and continued her training as a teaching assistant. She and other members of the group now meet up outside Trinity as friends.
