Can you take the heat? Fearless fundraisers are offered the ultimate challenge to walk across hot coals.
Sign up to face your fears and walk a short distance, 15ft to be exact, across hot coals. It may sound tough but it’s perfectly safe. Some say it feels like heat though your soles, others say it’s freezing cold – whichever one it is, it certainly won’t be a feeling you’ll forget.
Book your place
As a firewalker you will receive full training an hour before the firewalk from Scott Bell who is the twice Guinness World Record holder for the ‘Greatest Fire Walking Distance’ by walking 328ft on burning coals.
Scott will explain the history of firewalking and the technique behind it and build your confidence to complete the challenge. The firewalk is run by Firewalk UK, the UK’s leading firewalking experts.
The firewalk will be held at our walk-in centre on Friday 24 September 2021.

Fundraising for your firewalk
As well as the challenge of walking over coals, we’ve asked you to raise a minimum of £100 for Trinity.
We are here to help with any fundraising queries and we are more than happy to talk through ideas with you! We recommend starting by setting up a fundraising page with JustGiving, which takes just a few moments to create. and sending this out to all your friends, family and colleagues.
Every penny raised goes back into providing vital support for homeless and vulnerable people. Alternatively, you can find all our fundraising resources below which includes our paper sponsorship form and information pack.
We welcome friends and family to come along and support your firewalk.
Food and refreshments are available at our drop-in centre, where you can get a direct insight into the work we do and enjoy handmade cakes with tea, coffee and light refreshments.
Changes will be implemented subject to government guidelines.
A training tutorial will be sent via video link to watch prior to arrival. This will be accompanied by a brief recap of the technique and any questions answered on the day.
The firewalk area will only allow one walker at a time, they will have a clear entrance and exit of the area. There will be a queuing system at the entrance and the gaps will be spaced at 2m intervals.
For walkers requiring assistance, we will provide hand sanitiser and gloves to assist them.
