The ‘Virtual’ London Marathon

We are looking for runners to take on this year’s virtual London Marathon for Trinity Winchester!

We have a limited number of charity places available in the virtual 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon, so if you’d like to take part in this unique challenge, while raising much-needed funds for Trinity, please get in touch with us today.

The 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon is taking place on Sunday 3 October, with a record 50,000 participants running on the streets of the capital, from Blackheath to The Mall. On the same day, an additional 50,000 people will have the chance to take on the world’s greatest marathon on the course of their choice from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 BST, wherever they are on the planet – building on the success of the first-ever virtual London Marathon last year.

We hope you’ll join the thousands of other participants who’ll be celebrating everything the London Marathon embodies – fun, fundraising, fancy-dress and amazing community spirit – in aid Trinity Winchester.

Entrants have 24 hours to complete the 26.2 miles on Sunday 3rd October. You can complete it in stages if you don’t feel you can do it all at once, and you can walk, jog or run the distance! The London Marathon will release an app to allow you to track the distance and earn your medal. To take part and raise much needed funds for Trinity, we are asking for a £250 fundraising pledge and £20 to cover the cost of entry.

If you or anyone you know would be interested in supporting us in the virtual marathon, please let me know and I’ll get them signed up. We do have a very limited number of tickets available and will be given out on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The Virtual London Marathon will be held virtually on Sunday 3rd October 2021.
