On Wednesday 26th April 2017, Tillison Consulting, a Waterlooville-based digital marketing agency and Town or Country, a business providing serviced Southampton accommodation, hosted a curry business event and raised £176 for Trinity Winchester.

The event took place with a raffle at Gandhi’s Indian restaurant in Winchester, with mouth-watering family-style Indian food priced at £25 per head and included a £5 donation to Trinity Winchester.

Town or Country helped to host the event too, having selected Trinity Winchester as their chosen charity. They are an established business that provides cost-effective serviced accommodation in Southampton and Portsmouth and wanted to raise money to help homeless people.

Mark Tillison, CEO for Tillison Consulting, said: ‘’It was fantastic news to hear that we, along with Town or Country helped to raise a substantial amount of money for Trinity Winchester. It was a smashing night for a great cause, and the conversation was entertaining and interesting as always. £176 to a local charity will make a big difference to someone’s life for a week if they have no fixed abode for example, rather than donating to a big nation-wide charity where £176 is just a drop in the ocean – I mean, where does it go?’

Tillison Consulting has raised in excess of £5000 for charities through their curry business events and they are looking forward to raising money again for local charities.

Approximately twenty small business owners from start-up businesses and the digital marketing industry around Winchester attended the event.
