This event will explore the realities of homelessness in Winchester and the surrounding area, highlight the vital support services available, and showcase how community partnerships can help create sustainable solutions.
Free to book, with a suggested donation of £10 to support Trinity’s services.

World Homeless Day Evensong and Candlelit Vigil
Friday 9th October, 5:30pm
Winchester Cathedral
Join us at Winchester Cathedral for a special Evensong service to mark World Homeless Day and stand in solidarity with people experiencing homelessness in our community and beyond.
This reflective service offers an opportunity to come together in prayer, remembrance, and hope, while raising awareness of the challenges faced by many. Through music, readings, and reflection, we will recognise the importance of compassion for those who are among the most vulnerable in our society.
Following the service, all attendees are invited to take part in a silent candlelit vigil. The vigil provides a moment to pause and remember the many individuals who have sadly lost their lives while experiencing homelessness.
All are welcome, no ticket required.
