BIG SLEEP OUT returns

Trinity is excited to announce the return of their annual Big Sleep Out at Winchester Rugby Club.

Join us on Friday 19th June 2026 from 6pm for an eye-opening night spent sleeping in cardboard shelters to raise vital funds and awareness for our work supporting people experiencing homelessness and domestic abuse in Winchester.

The evening begins with local music and entertainment, delicious food, and creative activities, bringing our community together in a spirit of solidarity and support. From 10pm, participants will bed down for the night in homemade cardboard shelters in support of Trinity’s vital services.

Now in its 13th year, the Big Sleep Out plays a crucial role in sustaining our work. Every penny raised goes directly towards creating long-term, positive change for people in our community.

As Trinity marks 40 years of supporting Winchester, this year’s Big Sleep Out is a powerful opportunity to stand with us and make a lasting difference.

We ask that participants raise a minimum of £100 (£50 for under 18s). Anyone who raises £150 or more will get a free Big Sleep Out t-shirt!

The Big Sleep Out is not an experience of homelessness. We cannot replicate the harsh realities of sleeping rough night after night. Participants will return to the comfort of their homes the following morning, something that is not an option for thousands of people.

This event is a meaningful and challenging way to raise vital funds and awareness.

Restorative Morning at Walnut Tree Farm

A Restorative Morning at Walnut Tree Farm

This Tuesday, Trinity’s Women’s Service enjoyed an uplifting visit to Walnut Tree Farm in Kingsworthy for a peaceful morning of mindfulness.

The Wellbeing Cafe group fully embraced farm life, spending time cuddling chickens, petting sheep, feeding alpacas, chatting to turkeys, grooming horses, and even collecting freshly laid eggs. Each activity offered a chance to slow down, be present, and enjoy the simple pleasures of being outdoors.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Walnut Tree Farm for such a warm and generous welcome. The experience was truly appreciated by everyone who attended.

Fearless Fundraisers wanted for Community Firewalk

Are you ready to step outside your comfort zone and do something extraordinary for your community?

Join us for an unforgettable Firewalk experience in support of Trinity and the Winchester Food and Basics Bank. This powerful fundraising event invites brave participants to walk barefoot across 15 feet of hot coals—raising vital funds while embracing courage, community, and compassion.

The Firewalk may sound daunting, but it is completely safe and expertly guided. Some describe the sensation as a gentle warmth beneath their feet, while others say it feels surprisingly cool. One thing everyone agrees on: it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

All Firewalkers will receive full professional training one hour before the walk from Scott Bell, a twice Guinness World Record holder for the Greatest Fire Walking Distance. Having completed an incredible 328 feet across burning embers, Scott will guide participants through the history of firewalking, explain the science and technique behind it, and build the confidence needed to complete the challenge.

The event is delivered by Firewalk UK, the UK’s leading firewalking experts, ensuring the highest standards of safety and support throughout.

In addition to taking part, participants are asked to raise a minimum of £100. Every pound raised will help provide essential support to individuals and families in our local community.

Registration costs £30, with a Group of 4 saver option for £100.
Family and friends are warmly encouraged to come along, cheer on participants, and be part of this inspiring evening.

Can you handle the heat? Step forward, face the challenge, and make a real difference.
