Outreach / Navigators

In partnership with Winchester City Council, we have formed a team of Complex Needs Navigators who regularly walk around in the early hours and throughout the day, with the purpose of identifying those who are new to rough sleeping in the area. They offer hot drinks and advice to support them to access Trinity day centre and all the services that they might need in order to change their circumstances. We adopt a multi agency approach, working alongside The Winchester BID and Community Safety Partnership to respond effectively and quickly.

We know through experience that early intervention is the key to quick and long-term solutions for many of these individuals. Our team are on hand to respond to new rough sleepers and calls from the public who may be concerned about an individual.

If you are worried about somebody who might be sleeping on the streets, please contact us.
