Staying in isolation

Staying in isolation

Homelessness practitioners created “Distraction Packs” to help those we support with filling some time during this lockdown period.

Crosswords and puzzles, as well as mindfulness colouring to support mental health well-being.

This also included some home learning packs to distribute, covering art and budgeting with some lovely home cooking recipes.

Offering safe support to women during Coronavirus

Offering safe support to women during Coronavirus

At Trinity we are committed to offering safe support to any of our women that need it. Our counsellors are working from home and are offering online or telephone counselling as well as making daily well-being calls to ensure that our clients are still receiving help in creative and safe ways.

We recognise at times such as these that there will be a decline in peoples mental health as well as the escalation of such issues as abuse and we want to reassure all our women that we remain here for them as per our normal opening hours through phone contact.

People who we know are living on or below the poverty line are being supported with safe food and toiletries deliveries where we can and we are committing to offering that support for as long as we can for those that need us the most.

Help is available by calling the Police on 999 if you are in immediate danger, or Women’s Aid on 0808 2000 247, or STOP Domestic Abuse Hampshire on 03300165112.

Postponement of Trinity’s Big Sleep Out

Postponement of Trinity’s Big Sleep Out

It comes with a heavy heart that we announce the postponement of Trinity’s Big Sleep Out due to the uncertainly around Coronavirus and in-line with the new government measures announced this week.

We promise that we are working hard to get a new date set for later in the year and hope that you will be able to join us again then. We’ll keep you up to date with announcements via our social sites and mailing list, so please stay tuned.

In the meantime, you can support us by making a donation below as we continue to keep our doors open for as long as possible to those who are homeless and most in need.

Our Response To Coronavirus

Our Response To Coronavirus

Here at Trinity we have been busy making our continuity plans in order to keep our vital services open for as long as possible for those that need us the most.

Our office-based staff will be working from home and our project team will be manning the stations at the centre offering support for those that are rough sleeping, in the night shelter or in need of emergency interventions.

We appreciate all your wonderful support and recognise the importance of community for such times as these. Over the next few days and weeks we will keep you posted as to how best to continue to help Trinity both practically and financially and we of course thank you for your continued support during these uncertain times.
