Local young women to share their experiences of Eating Disorders at Trinity Winchester Event

Trinity Winchester’s Eating Disorder group will be welcoming two speakers to their meeting on 19th July to share their stories of recovery. Trinity runs two monthly groups, one for those struggling with an eating disorder, and a support group for friends and family. This event will see the two groups come together to hear how other people have overcome their eating disorders, and how to prevent and cope with relapse. (more…)

Big Sleep Out Raises over £30,000

Trinity Winchester’s unique fundraising event, the Big Sleep Out, has raised over £30,000 to date. On Friday 5th May, 200 people bedded down in the grounds of the iconic Winchester Cathedral to raise funds and awareness for local homelessness charity Trinity Winchester. Participants built themselves cardboard shelters to sleep in and raised sponsorship for taking on the challenge of sleeping outside for the night. (more…)

Local Companies Help Feed Homeless People

Local homelessness charity, Trinity Winchester, put out a call for volunteer chefs to cover their regular cook’s holiday, and have been inundated with support from generous local companies.

Teams from Winchester City Council, Enterprise Car Hire, Amey Construction, Fat Face, First Bite, the University of Winchester, Holiday Inn and Osborne Construction all dedicated a day’s volunteering to help homeless people. (more…)
